What’s up, everyone? Today, I want to tell you why I always throw events and how effective they are!
People ask me all the time…
“Bridger, I don’t know how to raise capital! Or “I don’t know how to find investors!”
Well, throwing events is the best shortcut. Here’s one that I threw recently…
Cars & Coin
Cars and coin is an event where wealthy investors get together, and network while being entertained by muscle cars.
There’s no pitching allowed, just high net worth individuals talking about where they should put their money within the next 12-18 months.
The event that I threw recently was ‘invite only’, and everyone brought a super car to show off. Food was provided, we had some speakers and an amazing discussion (click here to check it out).
We talked about bitcoin, future predictions of the FED and the market, and more!
But why did I spend all this time and money on something like this?
Why?
#1 Good fund managers are good marketers.
Like I said in my video…
You need to know how to position yourself with investors. Here are 3 steps:
- Get into the room
- Build relationships
- Close those investors into your fund
#2 Throwing events is a fantastic way to grow your network and get your name out there!
#3 I like doing it!
It’s a blast! I don’t have a secret motive. I just want to get cool people together and get some connections made.
And who knows, maybe the guests will invest in my fund! But that’s not the purpose.
Conclusion
So, why do I throw events like Cars and Coin? Because it is the best way to build my network.
